Horizons. With this handweave, we wanted to symbolize the different horizons that we can glimpse depending on where we look from, the vanishing point changes and allows us to appreciate different details, being the same horizon. Linking the idea that there is no absolute reality by definition for all concepts, there are different factors, which usually determine, different realities.
We have woven with natural undyed alpaca, with different types of ligaments, to create different lines of weave, different lines of horizons, which will attract more or less the attention of the person who observes them in one way or another.
We wanted to frame it in an exceptional wood, olive wood, strong, with personality and durable. We have mounted them in an olive wood frame, with box-like sides, that invite you to touch and help you maintain shape. In El Arte del Olivo, they treat olive wood in a very careful way, like natural works of art, with this intrinsic beauty that they know how to extol.
You can place it horizontally on a table or shelf or vertically also on a table, sideboard or on the wall ... It will be a point of attention wherever it is placed.

Alpaca
The Alpaca is native to the Andes, Peru. It is an exquisite fiber, with a series of characteristics that gives it an exceptional quality, it is very soft, very warm, thermo-regulating, does not retain odors, and its structure with hardly any scales makes it not cold.
MAINTENANCE TIPS.
Fabric: hand wash, with neutral detergent and cold water.
The wood: you can apply olive oil to keep it hydrated and enhance the veins of the olive wood.

This piece is unique, designed and woven by us on a manual wooden artisan loom, moved by our hands and feet, we weave it strand by strand, with the best quality natural fiber, the best to wear or use in contact with your skin and we take care of all the details so that you have a piece, timeless, durable and of high quality.
All its finishes are made by hand. It does not have knots in the warp (vertical threads) nor in the weft (horizontal threads). The weft splices are collected by hand in the selvedges with a needle, achieving a more complete and better quality finish.
We wash it by hand with natural soap, to verify the quality of the fiber, the dyeing if it has it and take its final measurement, something essential for us, all the pieces woven on the artisan loom shrink in their first wash because the fibers are repositioned This is only done in the first wash, then they do not shrink any more. And then we iron it by hand with steam so that once it is finished, you can appreciate all its qualities.
